auto-formatting of posts

i copy and paste in a properly HTML formatted post, and this fucking thing needs to reformat it every time and make everything look like shit.
why is it removing line breaks? just so everything will look like jumbled doody?
must a fucking program seriously micro-manage my use of the "return" key?
so annoying. i liked the old board so much more.
ever since it changed over, this place has been on the decline.
site "improvement" FAIL.
+1. Everytime I come to this message board I keep wondering why its not as good as phpbb... its the user interface and organization. its just not as simple or as awesome.

Hey guys, sorry I've been MIA. I thought I'd put in some time tonight to address bugs that you have mentioned. You should be able to post html or bbcode in posts from now on. I've changed the filter settings to allow line break tags.

Blipswitch... is there anything i can do to get buttons at the top of my "post new comment" to auto type the bbcode for me? :)

i guess i just don't understand how to use the new system.
i will copy and paste text like the following into the composition box:

can the program not recognize a basic line break without having to enter one manually in html?
i don't get why, if a particular line is too short or blank, it will just remove your "return" and shove it all into one line.
i guess i'm just wondering how i can copy/paste text for a basic .txt doc and leave the original formatting alone?
any help appreciated!

it's so frustrating to have all your formatting removed and/or messed with.
everything i prepare ends up looking completely unreadable.
i've actually been reduced to taking screenshots of the "as is" text and posting them as photos.
admins, i really feel this is affecting everyone's experience with the site, to the point where i'm questioning if i even care to use it anymore. coincidentally, usage here seems to be going down by the day.
can anything be done to fix this issue?
since money seems to be the deciding factor in fixing site issues, can you tell us how much we need to pay you to make the site usable so maybe we can start a collection?

please fix the formatting problem of this forum. events suck to read, posting sucks and un-interactive compared to otherboards. Honestly, this sucks and I love interacting with you guys here way more than facebook or whatever the hell social networking.
I also guarantee you've lost lots of traction for the forum because of this switchover.
And to this comment about payment. Don't feel like we aren't paying you... because your domain name is pumbling my eyes everytime i refresh the page or type in the url. You are leveraging San Fransisco based music for your own benefit by using the blipswitch name and the blipswitch forum to run your blipswitch label. Sorry to come off like a dick... but this does really suck and there was no need to change it from the beginning, other than to instill your "Blipswitch" the blip switch Integration with a couple artistic cables flying in the background.
you are getting free impressions, attention towards blipswitch and what it represents. Isn't that some sort of payment?
