Bells & Whistles (Habit)

Two kids in their early twenties coming up in a rapidly growing scene here in San Francisco, Zack Yakovlev and Yanick Rieffel started their first monthly party call DRESSCODE, bringing house and techno talent from all over the world, to the top of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel, 21 floors up at Harry Denton's Starlight Room. They've played along side people like Claude VonStroke, Tim Green, Bruno Pronsato, Maetrik, Jason Emsley, Soul Clap, Coalition Of The Killing, Clint Stewart, Alland Byallo, Franklin De Costa, and more. As gigs start to pop up more and more frequently for the duo, production is what is really on their minds. Toying with constant ideas and adding to a growing library of material; Bells and Whistles are definitely individuals to look out for in 2010.

Travis Dalton (Nightlight Music | Binary)

Taken from Urban Dictionary.com
1.Dalton You know he's bad news, but that never stops you from longing for his husky voice and his tastefully seductive body. The lust buried deep inside you always somehow manages to come to life like a phoenix being reborn from its ashes. This is what He does to you. But there is another side. Hidden beneath his scarred heart lay memories of terror. Something happened to him. He was never the same. He has a split personality, in a way, half human, half monster. The only thing left in the world that makes him happy lingers before his very eyes and is taken away forever in a single second. He now lives a tortured existence, longing for what he knows he will never have.....

It must be this madness that pushes Travis Dalton to be one of those people who are so driven it's nearly bad for them. Whatever he does he gives his all. Whether that's pouring his heart into a downtempo tune, rocking dance floors with absolute abandon, pounding sets 3 and four hours long broadcasting his weekly radio show on eddiekaneradio, or conceptualizing and supporting the continued success of BINARY at the infamous 222 Hyde for the last two years this kid stays busy. Travis has remix and original work released on Alland Byallo's, Nightlight Music sublabel NLMX as well as remix work upcoming on Cable recordings. Travis is currently wrapping up completion of an unreleased album of moody, deep, emotionally relevant downtempo. (Holla if you'd like it shopped to you!)

Stephanie grew up immersed in music from an early age. Stephanie’s jazz-drummer father put her in front of a piano at age 6. Stephanie’s been involved in all types of musical pursuits from classical piano lessons, musicals, tenor saxophone, classical guitar, college-radio DJ, choreography/aerobics instruction, and DJing and music production.

Stephanie was lured to the San Francisco dance music scene from Washington, DC in 2002. Stephanie quickly developed a strong style that’s a fusion of house & techno: thumpy, minimal, and always accompanied by a provocative melody.

Stephanie formed Zenomena Productions in 2008 as a vehicle to fly in top talent and a mechanism to highlight the talented artists of the San Francisco bay area. Zenomena Productions throws a regular one-off party called Funkentanzen and a monthly called TekAndHaus . TekAndHaus began in the basement of Temple but now lives @ Paradise Lounge. Zenomena Productions is Stephanie’s personal investment in the music that has become her passion & obsession.
