Symbiosis Festival, Sept 17-21 - Yosemite National Forest
Event Information
This campout festival will take place fully permitted at Camp Mather in Yosemite National Forest. Lake, epic views, tons of music, art, installations, visuals, performances and workshops (sustainable living, etc).
There are obviously a lot of musical styles and communities being represented, but the tech presence is nothing to sneeze at, with acts including Extrawelt, Claude Vonstroke, KONTROL personnel, Noah Pred, Deepchild, Evan Marc, Ido Ophir, U-One, Majitope, to name a few.
Festival headliners include Les Claypool, Coco Rosie, DJ Shadow, Amon Tobin, Flying Lotus, Mala, N-Type, Caspa, Lazer Sword, Heavyweight Dub Champion, Shpongle, and many many others.
Maybe not for everyone here, but worth investigating either way. I do know these guys run a very tight ship- the visuals are always top-notch, and they do NOT fuck around when it comes to bringing the proper soundsystem heat. The location? Epic squared... And fuck- techno on the lake in freakin' Yosemite? Yowsah.
