So I have brought back the forums and audio back into the message boards. Eventually I will get around to fixing other bugs, but this was the largest, and most urgent task to tackle. You now have optional fields if you are posting in the events or mixes forum. These are "optional" and don't have to be filled out, however, if you take the time to upload a flyer, your event will look better on the homepage...
I have temporarily taken down the calendar and the events listings, but they will be back soon.
More fixes coming soon...

They Audio and Events pages will be back shortly. I had to temporarily disable them in order to move the content back into the forums. Eventually, you will be able to post in the events forum and it will show up on the home page, and the events page like before.

Yes please fix the landing page for Audio and Events, the reason behind a lot of forums' lack of success is that forum pages look very un-appealing to users. All that text and lack of images intimidate users, they dont know where to start, they get lost in the information since there is now flow. Im not making this shit up, these are all based on case studies, not a couple of techno heads nagging and bitching about something they dont know shit about.
fuck what people say, your doing a great job. look at your site stats; page views, bounces rates, new visits... the stats dont lie, its all about the user experience.

I do miss the chronological order of events on the home page, but I do like the return of the forum discussion of events. If possible, please incorporate both features.

Fully agree about the chron event order. Things get lost too easily. Plus I liked coming to the homepage and seeing fliers for that days events and not having to go to the forum to search through the topics.

Yeah, the plan was to have both. I have a little more work to do. I'll probably wrap that stuff up over the weekend. Also, Smilies and BBcode formatting buttons are coming soon.
