With Claude Von Stroke, Catz n' Dogz, Justin Martin and J. Phlip on the infamous Opus sound system, this bird's nest will be rumbling. With drink specials all night and a $5 cover before 10, July 2 is sure to be a date to save on your calender.

damn... promoters in this town need to coordinate better. having two shows of this caliber on the same night (and only a couple blocks from each toher) only ends up hurting both, and the scene as a whole.

word. couldn't agree more. I used the promoter page once, but it seemed like it was being mostly used to advertise touring acts that needed a venue, or holding spots for "possible" dates. Maybe posting as soon as you have confirmed dates on the promoter page? it would just be pages of dates, but maybe with a quick skim it might help.

Rich, I know youve had some bad experiences with Vessel, but im working on it. Had a meeting with venue owners and managers and addressed a lot of those issues... fucked up door process, mean security guards, i will be watching closesly

it's good to hear they're being responsive to the complaints. i'd like to stop by and check this party out early in the night. i'll have to see what the group wants to do though, it's my friend's birthday so it's really up to her. i'll let you know what's up though :)

I agree. I'm glad they are being responsive. I know this hasn't been the first time they've received complaints about how things have been organized. I love Vessel, everything about it, the sound system, the venue, and I really have a lot of respect for Gordon. If they could just get the cover thing down!
