Decent techno in Las Vegas?

Folks, I will be there the weekend of June 12th to June 15th and just wondering if you had any advice on places to go. Trying to avoid somewhere like Jet, have little tolerance for annoying bouncers and bartenders, jaded cattle crowd, etc. Heard Spundae puts on stuff out there, but since Tiesto would have me falling asleep it might be a big waste of money.
Suggestions for decent techno/house/lounge there? Any links for underground events out there?

That's a tough one. Las Vegas promoters need to get on the ball.
I've had this same problem every single time I've gone to Vegas.

I seriously doubt you'll find anything that resembles good techno in Vegas, which is pretty depressing since it is America's playground. The clubs there are only interested in making the most $ possible, so they usually play a mix of everything in a mash up style.
You might want to venture off the strip and get some local advice for some less tourist heavy spots...they might have some cool music, but I'm skeptical.

I'm going to be in Vegas next Monday-Thursday, and would definitely like to see some non-top40 DJs play with my $20 jack-and-coke.

Vegas is pretty hopeless for good techno in my experience. The only place I've ever found any underground-ish music there is Drai's.

Place is totally random... in this casino across from Caesar's. Cover is steepish, and it doesn't really get going until around 3-4am. But you can expect a decent mix of house-ish/progressive stuff.
Techno+Vegas is all about having the right mindset (really low expectations?), and visiting infrequently.

Every time I go to Las Vegas I feel like a little piece of my soul is sucked away. The deep sick feeling I get in my stomach sets in as soon as I pass through that little shit-hole wanna-be Vegas town Primm on the 15 Highway. When I step out of the car for a quick bathroom break in this desolate and fuct little town I look around and see all the fat, ugly, and stupid Americans who flock here to lose money...."Wait I'm not even in Vegas yet!" Why the hell are all these people hanging out in this run-down casino pit stop that is only 20 mins outside of the REAL Hell on Earth? Sickness sets in... I jump back into the car and speed off toward Sin City as quickly as possible. "I must get intoxicate for this weekend to be fun", I tell myself.
Two days later I am ready to shoot myself...BANG!
Why do I continue to go back?
