Klectik Recordings returns with a seductive digital E.P. from Chicago's Max Jacobson. A talent on the rise with a penchant for stripped down deep house grooves. Max has gained international attention with his releases for Klectik and Shufflemood.  With the release of Klectik 009, the 5am Friends E.P., you'll hear some of Max's sleekest work to date in these three sophisticated modern house originals. The E.P. also features two brilliant remixes, the first from Detroit producer/DJ John Johr and the second from Buenos Aires-born producers Ariel Rodz and Juan Zolbaran.

A DJ since 1999, John Johr is one of the resident DJs representing Detroit promotional agency Paxahau. His impeccable taste in music and experiences working as a DJ and record buyer laid the foundation for his burgeoning production career. In the last year, John has released several in-demand remixes for Left'd (Leftroom's digital imprint), Kreativa Records, and Open Bar Music.

Influenced by the sounds of dub, house, and techno, Ariel Rodz and Juan Zolbaran's productions have earned the support of the world's finest techno and house DJs. Between DJing at South America's most prestigious nightclubs and releasing in-demand tracks for labels like Pura and Arjaus, these two young producers have become key figures in Argentina's flourishing underground tech-house scene.
